About The Fluent in Arabic Academy
The Fluent in Arabic Academy is owned by the FluentDev, LLC. a U.S.-based company. The Academy is founded and run by a group of faculty sharing an extensive experience teaching Arabic as a second language in different leading US colleges. Our love for the Arabic language and our dedication to students made us join efforts and deliver one of the best online and on-site teaching experiences.
Relying on its energetic team of experienced faculty and skillful information technology personnel, The Fluent in Arabic Academy has become a leader in online teaching. The live online classes allows its learners to take advantage of a high level of expertise wherever they are in the world. With the increase of interest in the Arab world and its rising economies, The Fluent in Arabic academy decided to widen the scope of its online classes to include the GetFluent sessions which target specific needs of businesspeople, heritage learners or learners of conversational Arabic. These differentiated learning sessions are one-on-one based for extra flexibility and to better target the specific needs of the learner. Intended for learners who have already acquired the basics of the Arabic language, these sessions focus on getting things done with the language, namely travel or carry a business deal, among other things.
Building on the success of the online component, The Fluent in Arabic Academy launched a blended study abroad program in Tunisia. This program features along with its on-site component in the capital Tunis, an online component that precedes and follows the trip. Such a blended program has proven to reduce the adjustment period of the early days on-site. This blended program also allows students to get used to the Tunisian dialect by attending live classes with their instructors and ask questions about their upcoming trip. The online post-program component allows for a stronger consolidation of what has been acquired on-site. Our on-site study abroad program relies on the dedicated work of a leading Tunisian travel agency to deliver the best enrichment activities at little or no extra cost.
